Sean Melia

Sean Melia is the editor of New England Golf Journal and the host of the “On Course” podcast. Prior to joining Seamans Media, Sean was an elementary and middle school teacher for 13 years in Beverly, Mass. He wrote for Celtics101.com and has more recently written for Miami Valley Golf Association (Ohio), Mass. Golf, and AmateurGolf.com. He has covered multiple USGA events, including the 2022 U.S. Open.

Sean played college golf at Holy Cross and still dabbles in competitive amateur golf. He is on a quest to play every golf course in Massachusetts, bringing him to all corners of the state and helping him meet new and interesting people.
