Matt Langone is the Managing Editor of the New England Soccer Journal and joined Seamans Media in August 2021. He is also the host of “The Goal” podcast. Before arriving at Seamans Media, Matt spent 11 years as a sports reporter/editor at the Lowell (Mass.) Sun, where he covered numerous major sporting events, including the NBA Finals, the World Series, the NCAA basketball and hockey tournaments and the U.S. Senior Open.

He also served as the radio color commentator for UMass Lowell men’s basketball broadcasts for two years. Matt brings a wealth of sports journalism experience, having started his career in 2005 with the Salem News. A native of Beverly, Mass., he resides in the North Shore of Massachusetts with his family and their yellow lab, Junie.
